Current News and Upcoming Events:
Absolutely Filthy opened at Sacred Fools on January 25th, 2013, and closed on March 10, 2013. It was supposed to close a week prior, but because of rave reviews and sold-out houses, it extended! It will be returning to LA on June 21st as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival!
Amir can be seen as a series regular on the webseries Unicorn Plan-It. Season 2 has already started airing!
Past Events:
Amir & Haviland Stillwell performed a concert at Rockwell LA on April 23rd at 8pm. It was a completely sold-out show, and they had to hold the house for 45 minutes to make sure everyone was seated!
The Phantom Tollbooth, with MainStreet Theatre Company, opened on March 30th and closed on April 14th.
Robin Hood opened at South Coast Repertory on November 3rd and ran till November 19th!
The Chrome Warrior (with Amir performing the roles he played in NYC) opened October 6th and played till November 3rd at the Lyric-Hyperion.
The People Vs. Friar Laurence with IOTA Theatre (and Amir playing Mercutio!) opened July 27th and ran till August 26th.
The Merry Wives of Windsor with The Porters of Hellsgate opened June 15th and ran till July 22nd!
Amir performed in Sarah Ruhl’s “Melancholy Play,” with Theatrum Elysium.
Amir danced in “Hit the Ground Running,” an evening of choreography by thesis students at UCLA on April 13th and 14th.
Amir performed a solo concert on February 22,2012 at 8:30pm at The Coterie LA, located at the Renaissance Hotel on Hollywood & Highland.
Amir performed with Coeurage Theatre in Lanford Wilson’s Balm in Gilead.
Amir’s solo show, Male Matriarch, made its west coast debut March 6th and 7th with the help of Alive Theatre and the Long Beach Playhouse.
Four Clowns was at South Coast Repertory Feb.17-19.
2011:
Amir performed his solo show, Male Matriarch, in the 15th Annual New York City Fringe Festival! Male Matriarch is the original and reclaimed title of Te Busco. Check out the Male Matriarch website!
Amir reprised his role as Nervous Clown in the award-winning 4 Clowns on a nationwide tour that included the Minnesota Fringe Festival and the San Francisco Fringe Festival, with the homecoming stretch at Sacred Fools in LA September 30th-October 28th.
Amir danced in the MFA2 Dance Concert, Watch This, at UCLA!
2010:
Amir played Sigmund Freud in Urban Theatre Movement’s production of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, by Stephen Adly Guirgis, at The Company of Angels in Downtown LA. Not only did the show receive amazing press, it was also named one of LA’s top 10 Revivals of 2010!
Amir participated in the Epic Movie contest for Sprint. Although his video didn’t win, you can still watch Epic Pick-Up Line and enjoy it!
Amir returned to Zombie Joe’s Underground to play Sebastian in the pirate musical version of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night!
Amir performed with Alive Theatre as part of the Long Beach Poppin Play Festival.

Amir performed with his fellow classmates of the Atlantic Theater Conservatory LA Program in their spring showcase on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 4th and 5th, 2010, at 8pm.
Amir performed his solo show, Te Busco, as part of the two-play event, Love and Licenses, at 45 Bleecker, on
